Salutations. My name is Nichole Vasser and I have designed instructional content for over 20 years. My journey to become an instructional designer began when I was asked to design a group of courses for a remote sales force. After the courses were delivered, my technical support manager told me that I missed my calling. I took those words to heart and have been working in my “calling” ever since that conversation. I have worked in higher education for the past 8 years to create and revise online, blended, flipped and face-to-face courses to facilitate student learning. I also teach online business, human resources and general education courses.
Prior to working in higher education, I worked in the retail and banking industries in project management, training, technical support and business analysis. I earned my Master of Arts in Training and Development from Roosevelt University. I also have graduate certificates in Training, Instructional Design and Performance Consulting.
When not designing courses or teaching, I love spending time with my rather large family. Three of my five sisters and I travel and even dress alike sometimes (corny I know, but fun). We leave our three brothers and our respective husbands at home.
I look forward to working with your faculty to bring custom learning solutions to help meet student and institutional goals.
